Course Details

Pre-requisite: 15 years of age • Candidates must attend 100% of the course. • Candidates are required to be “on-camera” and participate throughout the course. • Coaches with ONLY the Community Coach Course cannot coach at a sanctioned competition. • Coaches must take the Swimming 101 Course prior to being a coach on deck at a sanctioned competition. • This course is NOT for Head Coaches of a club. Head Coaches must take the Swimming 101 course. • A Community Coach shall work with a mentor (coach at higher level) to help their development. • If the Community Coach is interested in pursuing a career in coaching (either part time or full time), they need to progress to the next coaching level (Level 1 Fundamentals Coach) Course Registration • Registration for the clinic will close July 10, 2020 4:00pm • Register online HERE • The minimum number of registrations required to run the clinic is 6 and the maximum number of registrants is 10. If the minimum of 6 registrations are not received by deadline the course will be cancelled. Course Fee • $150.00 payable by cheque or e-transfer to Swim Nova Scotia. B3J 1G6 • E-transfer payment to swimming@sportnovascotia.ca (use password ‘swimming’) • Payment must be received by Swim Nova Scotia prior to the course deadline.
